Earlier the rumors kept the showbiz circle wondering whether she was having any issue back in home. Close friends revealed later that the issues between husband and wife were of minor nature which later got serious.
Shaista by profession a dentist, started her showbiz career as Dr. Shaista Wahidi is a TV presenter. She started her career with FM radio. Later on she joins TV and become a NEWS caster. Soon she moves towards hosting of live shows. Some of her shows are "Hum Aur Aap Brah-e-Rast" , "'Shaista and You'" , "Bakhaber Savera", ''Good Morning Pakistan". Currently she was host. " Outho Jago Pakistan"
