The Nail Bar Lahore by La Rouge

Going about on MM Alam Road lahore with a hungry stomach and luscious taste suddenly my eyes tangled with beautifully illuminated lights of a store. I narrowed my eyes and thought for a while, rotate the stirring of my vehicle and parked the car in front of the store, altogether eliminating the demands of my blood stream and stomach, which kept on telling me i was low in energy.

I pulled up the hand break and like a hypnotized man went straight to the store, surprised and excited to see a well decorated interior and neatly dressed staff. I asked a lady just coming out from the store followed by couple of young girls, "what was that store about ! And what good they were serving inside, and under those stars like glittering lights"? She took my question a smearing inquiry, smiled at me and said "Nothing of your interest, but maybe you like it too" they exchanged laughter and vanished, left me scratching my head.

I decided to help myself this time, and went straight to the entry door, still hesitant though since i could see only women inside. And in our part of the world its taboo to enter the premises of those get togethers where women of all kinds were in abundance. But the curiosity in me was stronger than these half fears. Before i could pop my head through the door and could face the wrath of two dozens of women, my eyes fell on the facade and it said The Nail Bar by La Rouge.

Ohh my goodness ! Without moving an inch further spinning on my toes in 360 degree angle and came back to my vehicle , starting feeling hungry like a wolf.

I thought a plan, i called one of my friends who was nearer to the area and quite a well aware of new restaurants and where about to come over for dinner if she was free. She came like a hurricane and the first thing i asked her was "Have you visited this Nail Bar" and then threw another quick request " Can you please go inside to see what thus store was about"? Puzzled but she went inside, still under the spell of uncertainty whether i was not drunk. 

When she returned she came with this information.

What goes around comes back around

Each time i sign in to my account on social network site, I see all my so called friends are in a rat race, the rat race of telling the world that they are working on bigger projects, crossing the biggest and hardest hurdles with ease, determined to be more powerful, more successful and wealth, feeling contentment by teasing, tormenting and pinching their competitors with their comments. Few depressing people,every morning solemnly check their horoscopes, wish someday they may get succeed and will join that rat race of showing off.

But to me these all are fool people. They don't know, they all can make their wishes come true with a smack of fingers, if they just follow the rules of Nature. But i know they don't believe in these simple rules. Because their hearts are made of rotten black coal. They expect others to help them achieving their goals, they expect the world to be fair to them and be honest, lovable and sacrificing to them, but they never make an attempt to give the same in return. And Nature Rule is whatever you give to the people the same you will get back in return." What goes around comes back around".

Life is more than that these little material wishes, little achievements, struggles, depressions and sentiments of broken heart. Real Success Is in no complaining, being simple, bing generous in giving and expecting nothing in return, differentiating between the Right and Wrong and above all recognizing the purpose of one,s life.

Philosophy of Success and our relationships

Success has its own strange philosophy. As you start climbing on the ladder of success your acquaintances, friends, colleagues, and sometimes family members start disassociating from you. No matter how hard you try to keep them closer to you heart, no matter how convincing you become in your dealing with them. But still you will find them complaining "You have changed".

Ruth of colleagues is understandable, because as long as you are like them, or you keep a low profile they will not take you as a serious threat and are happy mingling and scoffing with you.They may even consider you a fool in their heart not taking advantage of your good position. But the moment you are stealing a march upon them and going ahead, they start their enmity. And immediately those laughing faces turn into fuse faces.

Yes, it's the jealousy, its the jealousy, sense of frustration not being able to achieve what you are achieving. But you it's the taunt "You have changed".

Dual faced man.

It does not really matter how strong a man holds a position in the society. Or how respectable he is considered by the people. The thing that matters is, how true and honest is he in his dealings. The real wealth in a person is not his tall stature or accumulated money, but his inner self and his pure soul. Because ultimately when he gets to his bed for sleep, the reel of all day,s work plays before his eyes. And then he sees how badly he has treated the innocent people for his personal gains, and how many times he has deceived his friends for a piece of small business. People may never know this part of your character but Nature has the master copy of this recording. And some day you will be held brutally by the head hair.

Few days ago i met a man, famous, powerful, intellectual and wealth. He held a high place in the society. People from his extensive circle used to take him as a helpful, influential and a successful man. Even I had the same thought before meeting him. 

We were greeted warmly by him. ( i was accompanied by couple of our mutual friends ). We sat in a vast sitting area, exchanged formally positive gestures of being good hosts and guests.

Later as i spent time and went through the process of getting to know a person. I felt that the person was very arrogant, materialistic, show off, pretentious, bisexual and lacking in manners.

For me these were surprising facts if not shocking. Because he had entirely an opposite imagine in common man,s eyes. Whereas in reality he was an evil disguised. My mind was unable to absorb this message. But somehow, I didn't show any sign of emotional changes that were storming inside me.

Few moments ago, I had made a first impression of him as he was a very generous , wealthy and positive minded dude. And I told myself that God must have given him that much as a reward to his positive doings. But I was absolutely wrong. Apparently he had every necessity, he was influential, he was able to do or bet anything he wished. But internally he was devoid of a pure soul. His inner was contaminated with devilish thoughts. And he was using his powers to make general people fool by presenting his good picture, so that he could utilize and benefit from them.

Appendix pain - causes, treatment and prevention

Do you know what is appendix and why it causes pain in the lower abdomen ? 

The other day i was wondering myself about the relevant information on net and after 20 minutes of time taking endeavor found an article. But unfortunately it was too technical to be understood by common man like myself. And i had to spend another 15 min to look into the medic dictionary of those technical words which were disturbing me to understand the meaning properly. And now what i am gong to do is, edit this article particularly those technical terms plus going to add relevant images so that people like me, who have little knowledge of medical terminology could utilize this article for their benefits.

Well, Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix, a 3 1/2-inch-long tube of tissue that extends from the large intestine. No one is absolutely certain what the function of the appendix is. One thing we do know: We can live without it, without apparent consequences.

Consequences if left non-removed : 

An important thing you must understand that Appendicitis is a medical emergency that requires prompt surgery to remove the appendix. Left untreated, an inflamed appendix will eventually burst, or perforate, spilling infectious materials into the abdominal cavity. This can lead to peritonitis, a serious inflammation of the abdominal cavity's lining (the peritoneum) that can be fatal unless it is treated quickly with strong antibiotics.

Sometimes a pus-filled abscess (infection that is walled off from the rest of the body) forms outside the inflamed appendix. Scar tissue then "walls off" the appendix from the rest of the abdomen, preventing infection from spreading. An abscessed appendix is a less urgent situation, but unfortunately, it can't be identified without surgery. For this reason, all cases of appendicitis are treated as emergencies, requiring surgery.

In the U.S., one in 15 people will get appendicitis. Although it can strike at any age, appendicitis is rare under age 2 and most common between ages 10 and 30.

So what actually causes appendicitis

Appendicitis occurs when the appendix becomes blocked, often by stool, a foreign body, or cancer. Blockage may also occur from infection, since the appendix swells in response to any infection in the body.

Now the question arises how can we prevent this disease like situation to prevail in our sensitive body ?

Symptoms of Appendicitis?

The classic symptoms of appendicitis include:

• Dull pain near the navel or the upper abdomen that becomes sharp as it moves to the lower right abdomen. This is usually the first sign.
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea and/or vomiting soon after abdominal pain begins
• Abdominal swelling
• Fever of 99-102 degrees Fahrenheit
• Inability to pass gas
• 
  

Almost half the time, other symptoms of appendicitis appear, including:

• Dull or sharp pain anywhere in the upper or lower abdomen, back, or rectum
• Painful urination
• Vomiting that precedes the abdominal pain
• Severe cramps
• Constipation or diarrhea with gas

If you have any of the mentioned symptoms, seek medical attention immediately since timely diagnosis and treatment is very important. Do not eat, drink, or use any pain remedies, antacids, laxatives, or heating pads, which can cause an inflamed appendix to rupture.

How Is Appendicitis Diagnosed?

Diagnosing appendicitis can be tricky. Symptoms of appendicitis are frequently vague or extremely similar to other ailments, including gallbladder problems, bladder or urinary tract infection, Crohn's disease, gastritis, intestinal infection, and ovary problems.

The following tests are usually used to make the diagnosis.

• Abdominal exam to detect inflammation
• Urine test to rule out a urinary tract infection
• Rectal exam
• Blood test to see if your body is fighting infection
• CT scans and/or ultrasound

How Is Appendicitis Treated?

Surgery to remove the appendix, which is called an appendectomy, is the standard treatment for appendicitis.

If appendicitis is even suspected, doctors tend to err on the side of safety and quickly remove the appendix to avoid its rupture. If the appendix has formed an abscess, you may have two procedures: one to drain the abscess of pus and fluid, and a later one to remove the appendix.

Appendectomy: What to Expect

Antibiotics are given before an appendectomy to fight possible peritonitis. General anesthesia is usually given, and the appendix is removed through a 4-inch incision or by laparoscopy. If you have peritonitis, the abdomen is also irrigated and drained of pus.

Within 12 hours of surgery you may get up and move around. You can usually return to normal activities in two to three weeks. If surgery is done with a laparoscope (a thin telescope-like instrument for viewing inside the abdomen), the incision is smaller and recovery is faster.

After an appendectomy, call your doctor if you have:

• Uncontrolled vomiting
• Increased pain in your abdomen
• Dizziness/feelings of faintness
• Blood in your vomit or urine
• Increased pain and redness in your incision
• Fever
• Pus in the wound

Can Appendicitis Be Prevented?

There is no way to prevent appendicitis. However, appendicitis is less common in people who eat foods high in fiber, such as fresh fruits and vegetables.

Justice of Nature

"It's the justice of nature that if you run after material wishes and ignore the basic needs of your soul, upon which our Universe is created, then a time comes when you have to pay the price of making wrong choices. Love, devotion, goodwill, sacrifice, helping others, are far more greater forces than money, fame, luxury and power."

I was sitting on my work chair and wishing to calm myself from last night,s conversation i had with one of my old friends.
I spoke last night to one of my old friends in Toulouse, France. His name was Mubarik Ali. I met Mubarik, in 19 99, on one of the most beautiful hilly area of pakistan "Thandyaan" nearly 150-200 km from Abbatabbad. Mubarik was turing 43 now but still single. Last night he was discussing his life ; his colloquial conversation was deep and touching. I knew he was depress and low, so i would let him speak most of the time. He started .... "You know what Emmad, I have worked hard to get to this place. I have spent hundreds of sleepless nights, reading and working on my assignments. I am a software engineer in one of the biggest air plane making companies of the world, Boeing. I am literally earning that much money in a month what a normally european man don't earn in his whole life. From childhood i have wished to get to this place. Independent, wealthy, free, liberal, powerful. Today when I have acquired everything, and i can buy any and every luxury commodity of the world. I feel so weak and shallow inside. I feel something is still missing in my life. The thing i have never thought about in the past, never have bothered much about, and always has taken it as a joke exactly his thing has started to erode my bones me now. "Whats that thing"? I asked him, without interrupting the flow of his thoughts. "Love" He replied in low sad voice. "I don't know who to share my success with, I don't know who will motivate me further in life. "You know my parents na" He asked me in kind of checking tone whether i was there and listening. "Yes" i confirmed him. He continued again "they have grown too old now, I sometimes feel lonelier even when i am talking to amma. Because she does not speak anymore,she just keeps on looking at me from her weak frail eyes.
"I have asked you number of time to get married, you are turing baba now" I reminded him, trying to easy his heels with forced joking words. "No Emmad bahi, its not just marriage i miss, it's not that I need a woman to take care of me. I can take care of myself even if i dont marry all my life. I miss a family,s existence. I wish I had spent less time on working and reading and earning money, and had given more attention in making and raising my family life on right time."
A long deep silence followed his answer. Few more moments, and i heard a 43 years old man with extreme richness was crying in helplessness. And he hung up the phone.

I had nothing to offer him. No words of solace could diminish his grief. It was a justice of Nature.

14th August, Independence Day of Pakistan.

The other day a friend was asking me to write something on "Independence Day of Pakistan" which we were going to commemorate after a day. And I was like " Dear its a huge responsibility and will require extensive research since lots of data and information will be needed. And I will have to burn midnight oil to get it done" It was my answer to him. But deep down in my heart I had made a resolution that I would surely write something about it.

Today, we were working on a project, and while working I saw a small scene. In the lawn of our house and on the road there were 10 to 12 pennants ( pakistani little flags ) were scattered and some were wet with muddy water. It indeed was painful to see this sight since 14 Aug was approaching. For a moment I had a thought of our leader and founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Who used to spend all night working and when his sister Muhtrma Fatima would ask him to sleep now, Jinnah would say "Fatima if I fall asleep, who will accomplish this task ( Pakistan , a separate country ). I thought, had he been alive today, this sight would have hurt him deep down in his heart. Probably this was only the emotional part of me. And for a second, I like any other pakistani, thought of avoiding the scene, and thought of carry on with my work. Actually I wanted to pick and collect those miniature flags, but I was afraid to pick them from the road and muddy water. I was afraid of people that they might scoff at me, and might say if I were being over patriotic! ! Another moment and I left the work and went to the lawn and started picking those tinny pakistani flags. Now to my surprise, another man came forward and helped me picking them. And I put them over a high wall where they would remain safe.

Now couple of hours later, I saw another scene, a great surprise. Some more tinny flags were lying on the dirty ground. This time in the parking lot and on the road. And guess what, this time our senior most was picking them up. He collected them all, put them inside his car and drove away ! One effort changed the mind of three other men.

Independence Day ( 14 August ) is not just an other holiday when you can sleep all day or can have dine out or merely changing of facebook dp with the flags painted on faces. Or hoisting national flags on government buildings. In fact, these are deeper feelings than these, which come only from a patriotic heart. Its a day of acknowledging the sacrifices of those who lost and gave away their lives happily to get this land. Please love your country and pay tributes to your founder !

Why do we dream about our lost love ? Meaning of our Dreams 2

The thing which has made me write again about our Dreams is the striking question : Why do we dream about people who are passed away or who used to be a part of our life but not any more. Why do they keep on coming into our dreams??

Researchers from Rice University and Georgia Institute of Technology have found that the brain has three concentric layers of working memory where it stores readily available items. These layers can be termed as Conscious, Unconscious and Subconscious.

We always dream about those people who are important in our life or were important in the past. We dream about them because we long to see ourselves with them. Wish to spend our days and happy moments with them. We feel complete, secure, being loved, relaxed, protected and above all happy being with them. We feel so because we feel complete in their company. In fact its the unconscious part of our brain that takes us into that imaginary world. And when we get to our bed and close our eyes for sleep, these people become reality and become a part of our thoughts and then reside into world of our dreams. And this is why we always wake up happy or sad with their thoughts. You might have heard this phrase quite often from different people that 'his father or mother's soul often talks to him and helps him in difficult situation's. What actually is this that makes them say this? The truth behind this phrase is, these people think too often about their loved ones that they establish a direct contact with them bypassing this existing world altogether. And they communicate to them straight through their unconscious part. You might also have seen and observed that the mentalists and experts in necromancy close their eyes before the start their divine rituals and they take a few minutes before they communicate to a ghost or dead. Why so? Because either they allow their unconscious part to connect to them or let the dead's soul to reside into their mind. So basically, its our own attitude that makes us dream about our love mates or dear ones. Its the unconscious part that works and reminds us that our soul craves for someone's company, care and love. We still may not be able to have them in our life. But the pulse in our brain keeps on telling over and over and dreams keep on reminding time to time that we are incomplete.

Dreams are always meaningful, its just that in this fast and materialistic world we keep on ignoring them.

Meaning of our Dreams

Do you know this world did not come into existence of its own! ... Some one created it, purposefully. The trees, sky, mountains, meadows, beautiful landscapes, they are made with someone's special brush; with someone's special powers. And purposefully. Then how come our dreams are without a purpose?  Why they are meaningless in our life? 

 Dreams are very important in a human's life. They form our character, give us strength in weak times, predict and set up our future goals. In short they are not without a purpose! A doctor does not become a doctor without prior training. Nature makes him a doctor well before he enters the medical field. This is through dreams, signs, omens. From his childhood nature starts the process. Puts different thoughts in his mind regarding diseases or he himself suffers from some serious disease or someone very close to him falls ill and he watches the patient suffer. Then again at night he dreams about helping that patient, or recovering himself if he should fall ill. In all cases he is being tuned up, being trained for something. Later in life, he uses his toys as medical equipments, imagines himself as a doctor examines his patients. All this does not happen accidentally or on its own. Nature guides him, put thoughts in his mind, make him dream of these things and keep the related information alive in his mind. So when he grows up he tells his parents that he wants to join medical field. 

Most of us even having such training often fall to our parents pressure and choose different fields. In that case they always suffer, even if they become good professional. You might have heard of your father saying that he wanted to be a wild life photographer, had good collection too, but his parents forced him to become an engineer or a businessman. Such are the cases where a man faces failure even when in the eyes of the world he is a successful man. But inside  he is always uneasy, his soul shaking him for something. And whenever he sees or meets a person of his field he once had a craze for, he becomes so intimate, starts adoring his fellow, speaks so openly, so awkwardly. Because in his mate he sees himself and that's what gives him satisfaction and gives ease to his soul.

 I believe that your dreams are there to guide you. They are never without a purpose and they help you find the right path. Chase them, follow the instruction you get from them. If you don't receive any further instruction, wait  for a while and your guardian angel will come to whisper in your ear that what you have to do next.You may find many hardships, people may misguide you, mistreat you, but remember Nature will not let you fall if you are willing to make your dreams a reality. It will give you strength, motivation, will show you signs, and ultimately will escort you to the border of your destiny and will smile on you for your achievements.   Chase your dreams no matter what people may say, after all its your life and you ll have it once only.
