5 Bridal make-up tips during monsoon

5 bridal make-up tips during monsoon

Monsoon is the season of romance for some and marriage for others. For those women who are contemplating to tie the knot this season should keep the following beauty tips in mind before walking down the aisle dressed as a bride.

Beauty and makeup expert Shikha Taneja lists five simple makeup tips for the brides to abide by this season.

1. Sultry weather can lead your make-up to melt halfway down your face; therefore to ensure that the make-up lasts long it's best to mattify an oil free primer and use water-based foundation instead of cream ones.

2. Set the foundation with oil absorbing powder. This will make it last long, Would-be brides can keep blotting papers handy to avoid the face look too caked with make-up

3. Avoid any cream-based make up, be it blush or eye shadow. Instead, for an enhanced and less powdery look, use moisturising and make up setting spray on your face. This will add a glow to your face

4. Stay away from too much shimmer or glitter as this would make your face look excessively shiny and oily. Matte bronzers will be more flattering and intelligent pick in monsoon

5. Always use water proof eyeliner and mascara. Set these with black eye shadow on top of the liner as they run the risk of sliding off in humid weather.
