The Love story of CIA Chief and Paula Broadwell

This high profile true-love-story is about a man who becomes a sandwich between two women. Or say it between three women. One, his wife,( Holly Petraues ), second a passionate lover (
Paula Broadwell ) and third, a family friend and wanna be lover ( Jill Kelly ).
The man is a chief officer in a well established spy agency and a retired four star general, married, and father of a grown up son and a daughter. The Heroine, Paula Broadwell, apparently very possessive and conservative lover is also a lieutenant colonel, married and mother of two children. They meet somewhere and immediately falls in love. Somehow their woo goes successfully and happily. All of a sudden, a woman, name Jill Kelly, wife of hero,s friend, makes an attempt on the hero. This act is known by the possessive lover, Paula Broadwell, she sends threatening email to that woman and claims her right. The jealousy between two rises to such and extent that the scandal is known by everyone in the world. The third woman, the wife of the Hero is a Holly Cow, she never gets to know of anything until its everywhere on the news channels. Paula Dean Kranz Broadwell  (born November 9, 1972 is an American writer, academic, and anti-terrorism professional. She is the co-author with Vernon Loeb of the The New York Times Best Seller, All In: The Education of General David Petraeus, a biography of then International Security Assistance Force commander David Petraeus. On November 9, 2012, she was reported to have been involved in the extramarital affair with Petraeus that triggered his resignation as Director of the CIA when it was discovered by the FBI.



Broadwell grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota, and attended Century High School, where she was homecoming queen,valedictorian of the class of 1991. and an All-State basketball player.

Broadwell graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1995. She majored in political geography and ranked first in her class for overall fitness.She earned a master's degree in international security from the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2006. She earned a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2008. She is a "Research Associate" in the Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership Fellows. In 2008, she entered the Ph.D. program at Department of War Studies at King's College London.


She served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve. She was promoted to lieutenant colonel in the Reserves in August 2012.

She was Deputy Director of the Jebsen Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She also worked with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Broadwell met Petraeus in 2006 when he was a speaker at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.She was a graduate student at the time.

He served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from September 6, 2011, until his resignation on November 9, 2012. Prior to his assuming the directorship of the CIA, Petraeus was a four-star general serving over 37 years in the United States Army. His last assignments in the Army were as commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Commander, U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) from July 4, 2010, to July 18, 2011. His other four-star assignments include serving as the 10th Commander, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) from October 13, 2008, to June 30, 2010, and as Commanding General, Multi-National Force - Iraq (MNF-I) from February 10, 2007, to September 16, 2008. As commander of MNF-I, Petraeus oversaw all coalition forces in Iraq.

Petraeus has a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy, from which he graduated in 1974 as a distinguished cadet (top 5% of his class). He was the General George C. Marshall Award winner as the top graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College class of 1983. He subsequently earned an M.P.A. in 1985 and a Ph.D. degree in International Relations in 1987 from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He later served as Assistant Professor of International Relations at the United States Military Academy and also completed a fellowship at Georgetown University.

Gilberte "Jill" Khawam Kelley (born January 1, 1975) is an American socialite and volunteer social liaison to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Bay, Florida. She is a key figure in the government investigation into inappropriate communications by U.S. Generals David Petraeus and John R. Allen.

Kelley's family are Lebanese-American Maronite Catholics who immigrated from Jounieh, Lebanon, in the mid-1970s. She grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, and her parents owned a restaurant. She attended Allegheny University of the Health Sciences in the late 1990s, where she was undergraduate class representative. Kelley lived in the area until her mid-20s. She has an identical twin sister named Natalie.

Kelley was given an appreciation certificate recognizing her as an "honorary ambassador" to the coalition of countries at United States Central Command in Florida, but she has no official status and is not employed by the U.S. government. An official told the Associated Press that Kelley sometimes omits the term "honorary" and refers to herself as an ambassador.

Her Personal Life :

She is married to cancer surgeon Scott Kelley and has three daughters. They live in Tampa, Florida near United States Central Command headquarters and have frequently hosted glitzy parties for the area's military brass. According to the Washington Post, the Kelleys have been pursued by creditors since 2002 for failures to make payments.

In May 2012 Ms. Kelley complained to an FBI investigator of being sent harassing emails by an anonymous woman. This set off a chain of events that eventually led to the resignation of the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David Petraeus on November 9, 2012. The anonymous woman was identified as Paula Broadwell, who investigators discovered had been having an affair with Petraeus. On November 13, 2012 Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that the nomination of Petraeus' successor as top commander in Afghanistan, General John R. Allen, for the post of Supreme Allied Commander Europe would be delayed. News agencies said Allen was being investigated for "inappropriate communication" with Kelley.

On July 18, 2011, Allen assumed command of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) as Commander, U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A), succeeding Army General David Petraeus. He has been nominated to be NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, Europe from early 2013, pending confirmation by the United States Senate. On November 13, 2012 Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that Allen's nomination for SACEUR would be delayed. News agencies reported that Allen's communications with Jill Kelley, a Tampa woman who was friends with Allen's predecessor as top commander in Afghanistan, David Petraeus, were under investigation.

The revelation on Tuesday represented yet another stunning turn in a widening scandal that has jolted Washington only days after the re-election of President Barack Obama, with legislators vowing to get to the bottom of the case.

The Pentagon official told reporters the FBI had uncovered a trove of 30,000 pages of correspondence, mostly emails, between Allen and Jill Kelley, a key figure in the scandal that brought down the CIA chief.

Kelley is said to have received threatening emails from Paula Broadwell, who is Petraeus' biographer and who had an extramarital affair with Petraeus that reportedly began after he became CIA director in September 2011.
