I went to the Almirah exhibition held in the city of lights Karachi with my family. I had a bleak idea that how did the lawn exhibition normally go in our part if the world as i had attended quite a few. You know, women yelling at their kids, husbands lost in their deep thoughts and trying to maneuver wives keen interest from the expensive dresses, and sometimes a mother wondering here and there in search of her lost child and calling baby,s name, and the terrified poor soul would appear underneath a table or stall. I had witness quite a few of such scenes.
But to my pleasant surprise there was nothing such things. And i witnessed was apeaceful and clam crowd, vast space area, good enough to accommodate nearly 500 plus people at a time. A great dark color scheme, high canopy tent equally elegant, air conditioning system remained on even when outside temperature was reasonable. But still great thought was given to customers comfort.
I took a 360 round of the exhibition, marked the areas i wanted to write about, and searched for the management so that I could introduce myself and could take pictures because for me this exhibition was worth giving attention. Specially when business activities in the country had badly effected.
I met with couple of gentlemen from the management and shared my idea of writing about the exhibition, those men were professional and readily and happily conceded to my idea.
Later i was introduced to a young lad, recently graduated and was now one of the designers of Almirah. And I was surprised to know that he was hardly 22 or 23 years old. And he was one of those designers who had designed Almirah,s recent Colloction.
