One may call it "Neighboring influence" but fact remains unchanged ; our industry is making a successful come back. Khuda k Liye" "Bol" then Sharmeen Obaid,s award, the recording breaking success of drama serial "Hamsaafar". And uninterrupted launch of new channels. All indicate a positive change, healthy competition, and feel of encouragement for the young guns.
It will be unfair if we miss to make a mention of 'Best Model Pakistan'
and Mrs. Pakistan events here. To some of us it may sound surprising that such big events are organized in pakistan too. Well, they are not only organized but also sponsored ! But yes they may miss to attract considerable media coverage. Let me reveal another secret, the lady who won the title of Mrs. Pakistan 2012, Fahmina Omair, is also the winner of the title "Mrs. Asia" along with Mrs. Korea.
Currently our showbiz industry is on struggling stage but the little steps its making are more than enough to proof its sound footing in the future.
