Well, using the Google Drive is very simple. You just need to get the client from official Google Drive page. The client is available for the major OS like Windows, Mac. So just install the client software which will create a local folder on your hard drive. Putting any file in this folder will take it directly to the cloud storage. Obviously the time taken for this service depends on the speed of internet connection you have.

As it is something from Google, so the features list is also long and contain some new points as well. One of the best feature is to accept 30 file types at single instance. Along with storing documents online you can also store Music, Videos and many other file formats in the Google Cloud service, Google Drive.

With the free usage you get 5 GB storage for cloud, 10 GB for Gmail and 1 GB Picasa. The storage can be increased by spending some amount. You can make it 25 GB at 2.49 $/month and 100 GB at 4.99 $/ month.

You can access the service from client on your OS and from the browser as well. Offline access is also available.
The maximum size of the file that can be uploaded in the Google Drive is 10 GB and is far better than what its competitors are offering.

Amazing feature of accessing 20 file types at single instance of time.
One of the best features is the speed as well. Yes, it depends on your broadband connection, but Google Drive works faster than other cloud services for the same internet connection.

Any file uploaded by you in the Drive can be changed at any time and when you make any kind of change then all the devices attached to the same drive will work on the updated conditions.
Of Course Google Docs service is also available in the Drive with all the previous features. All the doc types that were supported in the Google Doc are the part of Google Drive.
